AUDITION FOR EISENHOWER DANCE DETROIT
We are seeking male-identifying dancers for our 36th season.
Materials due by July 17, 2026.
*Must be able to relocate to Detroit and start work by August 1, 2026.
Eisenhower Dance Detroit is a contemporary repertory dance company based in the Detroit Metropolitan area. The Company boasts a diverse repertory by nationally-known choreographers. Recent choreographic commissions include Maxine Doyle, Yoshito Sakuraba, Hope Boykin, Tess Voelker, Marc Brew, Micaela Taylor, and more.
Repertory has included works by WEWOLF, Norbert De La Cruz III, David Parsons, Lar Lubovitch, Edgar Zendejas, Nicolo Fonte, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Ron de Jesus, Ahmad Simmons, Gina Patterson, Jamey Hampton, David Dorfman, Founding Artistic Director Laurie Eisenhower and current Artistic Director Stephanie Pizzo, among many others.
INFORMATION:
Dancers must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid work visa that allows them to work for at least two years to be considered.
Mature dancers should have a strong background in ballet, modern, and improvisation techniques, along with performance experience. Ability to relocate to the Detroit area and transportation is required for Company members. Dancers are contracted from August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027. The contract length is variable but is generally between 32-35 weeks with national and international touring.
